Advice Needed

Hi everyone,

First of all that's for reading and also thanks for being part of the community. I've only been into watches for a year or so and this place has been a great help in educating me.

Basically, what should I add next?

Current collection:

SD4000
BLNR
TT DJ 36 (grandfathers watch)
JLC MUT Moon (steel, silver dial, black strap)

Candidates:

DaytonaC White (16-18k)
Lange 1815 RG 40mm (15-20k)
WG DaytonaC Oysterflex (<23k)

The Lange is the only thing I've actually tried on (and I loved it). I'd love to hear other options as well. Didn't love the AP 15400 (white) when I tried it on, maybe I'd like the black or blue better. Not a YG guy unless it's a YG DD, but I feel like I'm too young for that. Grail is a 5712, but I want to fill out a "base" collection first that covers all the bases.

I think I would go for the Daytona 116500 LN 001 among these watches. A Lange Sohne is great but that watch isn't as special as Datograph or Double Split

But how much over retail would you pay for it?

Wait to get the 116500 at retail price. IMO, a $5K premium to get it sooner from the secondary market is not worth it.

Daytona but not at that price, get on a list and be patient, not worth 16-18k IMHO, my wife has it, and for a few k more you get an AP 15202, which is a whole other level of horology IMO

I like that Lange, or the Lange 1 Moonphase as on Ansharma's superb thread here.
