"yeah"
"were to?"
"I dont know, where ever I end up I guess"
"man I wish I was you"
"really"
"yeah"
"well hang in there"

Easy Rider?

Edit-Nevermind, I googled one of the lines in your quote and found the answer. I'm not going to spoil it though because I didn't know of this show.

Then Came Bronson. Didn't watch it much as it was up against Hawaii 5-0! (No VCR's or DVR's in those days). RIP to Michael Parks.

I never saw "Then came Bronson."

The only real recollection I have of Michael Parks as an actor was in either a movie or TV show I saw when I was a young teenager, in which Parks played a misfit college student.

It made a huge impression on me, so much so that I became a misfit college student and grad student for that matter.

I really didn't try to become a misfit, but I was older than my fellow students by a decade in college and two decades in grad school.

Sounds like me....I went one semester after high school and dropped out in 76....went back in 85 and felt out of place but got degree in ag econ .....then in 96 for MBA got about 12 hours and dropped out again because of work.
M.P. made a big impression on me at 12 years old....I had just got a Honda 70 in 69 and thought i was Bronson.

Having read a synopsis of the TV show, I must have caught that one episode of "Then Came Bronson," probably while on convalescent leave after my return from Vietnam.

It's funny, because I've often wondered what show or movie that was and now, thanks to TRF, I know.

Vaguely recollect the show as it wasn't on for very long, maybe 1 season? It was kind of like Route 66 meets Easy Rider (except that Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda got killed at the end of their movie). The Michael Parks character (Bronson) did not suffer a similar fate as Then Came Bronson got cancelled due to poor TV ratings.

I remember watching Then Came Bronson as a kid. During that time frame in the mid to late 60s there were many shows that only lasted one or two years.
