Just FYI guys, if anyone is after a steel GMT there's one in the window of Goldsmiths in Merry Hill. The duty manager is Katie

They also have a steel Sub Date that a customer has "reserved" till 4pm today but apparently he's not answering any calls from Goldsmiths, so maybe it's worth giving them a ring.

Really!? Well that was totally opposite of what they told me. They said the Sub would be going in the window at 4pm if the guy that reserved it didn't turn up.

6200 lb = 7300 USD. With 20% VAT back (for visitors). It is only $5850. No wonder there is no stock in Europe.

Not sure what exchange rate you got but £6200 is over $8000? Also, the tax return for visitors travelling out of the UK is normally around 12~13% of purchase price (depending on admin charges) [not 20%]

They don't like people inquiring who have heard about it on the forums. They'd rather sell these to locals.
