Lukfook is not an authorized dealer in HK....
The source of reference should be from RSCHK but you may be able get such info from any authorized dealers in HK ..... |

Interesting. HK is the best place to shop for a Rolex, IMHO. Many AD's, great selection, and no sales tax. Some of the salespeople can be a bit aggressive, though.

Thanks for the info man great find. I'm at HK right now and I've been going around the AD's here bargaining for the cheapest price I can come across. The price list is just what I need better, at least from having an idea what the base prices are.
From what I've been told by all the salesmen that I'd talked to, every model of Rolex-whether from the starter models or the high-end ones, they can give 8% discount off the bat from the SRP. This, according to them, is pursuant of Rolex' advise to allow just 8% markdown from SRP. However, from what I've learned, beware as from going around Rolex AD's not all of them give exactly the same price. Others gave about 4%-5% higher price quote compared to others. That's why having a copy of the price list along with you will help a lot in bargaing for the cheapest price. The lowest quote I got so far was from Chow Tai Fook (Queen's road Central, Central, HK-beside HSBC Central Branch and infront of the Armani Exchange Boutique). Just look for the old salesguy, Raymond Leung, a nice guy not so much of a pain in the ass to bargain with. The next lowest quote is from the shop next door, Time City HK. Look for Wan Yiu Cheong Roy. The most expensive quote I got was from Emperor Jewellery @ Wan Chai. I also learned that the entry level models cost just the same, if not cheaper back home in the Philippines. The Air King costs about $3650 in most shops in the Philippines while in HK the it costs around $3710 (both at discounted prices). But the more expensive Milgauss GV costs about $8900 in the Philippines while in HK it will cost around $5900-$6400. I'm going to Macau later and at Harbour City later in the week, I hope I can find great deals with Rolex dealers there. |
