What is your favorite Rolex

Fellows,
What is your favorite Rolex watch, it can be from every decade and every period of time!
I am sure it has been asked many times, but let's have some fun!

Sub ND. Simplicity and works in any real-world (normal) environment reliably that you may encounter.

Then DD40 for being a 'classic' more formal timepiece than the Sub.

Without admitting one of my current isn't my ATF...

DD, WG. If I were to buy today I'd have a real struggle between the green dial and the Rhodium Stripe. Haven't seen the Rhodium in person, though it looks great in pictures I could see it being fairly busy with the fluted bezel, perhaps difficult to read. There is a Platinum version with these dials, for an extra $30K-ish.

I agree with this statement but if I leaned toward a specific line it would a Sub!

I am going to cheat and choose two.

My favorite for being the most versatile is the Explorer. Regardless of generation or size, this watch just works. Wearing a suit? Yup, it will fit under your shirt cuff. Climbing up Everest? Yup, it’s bulletproof and can survive the elements, too.

My real favorite, though, is the Sub LVc just because of how much it makes me smile. This color isn’t always a perfect fit. But it doesn’t matter. It’s comfortable. It’s sized perfectly. It’s beautiful. How can you not love this one? ;-)

For me the 16610LV. Perfect match of old and new and am lucky enough to have one. As for my aspiration, I don't really crave PM but have developed an obsession with the black ceramic Daytona which is beautiful. That said, I won't pay the premium.....
