About straps
I want to put a leather strap to my Submariner 116610. I measured that the original bracelet has 20mm in the widest part where the watch is fastened, of that size I have to buy the strap? And I can change it or I have to be a specialized watchmaker. Thanks friends

I know this may sound a little snarky, but it's hard to believe that in over 7 years of TRF membership and nearly 900 posts, you've never stumbled across any of the hundreds...maybe thousands...of threads about bracelet/strap changes.
That said, yes 20mm is the right size for your Sub strap, and yes you can change it yourself....without being a specialized watchmaker. A tool like the Bergeon 7825 makes the task a breeze, but is not necessary. |

Thank you for your quick response, which I appreciate very much. As for the other comment I clarify that I do other things in life apart from belonging to this Forum by asking questions. I'm not completely immersed in it. Greetings.

The size is 20mm. You can buy a spring bar tool or tweezers and do the strap changes yourself. It's quite easy once you do it a few times.
Look into Everest straps. They have a few leather designs that perfectly fit the Sub. |
