First and business looks incredible. Economy still looks crappy. Some airlines do a 3-3-3 setup which is much nicer compared to the 3-4-3.

I am flying to Bogota tonight on AA first class, I usually am upgraded to First because of my status with the airline, but it is NOTHING like that!

Probably the price of an OP or Ak. That’s the way to go if money isn’t an issue.

lol

If you’re talking about first class then it’s the price of a solid gold Sub, if not more.

Etihad has The Residence. Apartments with private shower. A tier above first, and bypasses many hassles in the terminal as well. IIRC it’s $25k from AUH to LHR, and always booked.

its no different than motel 6 vs the four seasons. You can stay in either but the experience is way different.

Very nice! In fact, pretty impressive what they've been able to do.

I am leaving for Bogota tonight, before the end of the year I have travel scheduled to DC and Montreal. I am around 100,000 miles right now and will easily surpass that milestone, FOR THIS CALENDAR YEAR. As draining as that is, it propels me from the status of Platinum Pro, to Executive platinum on American Airlines. My Pro has gotten me upgrades to first class 70 to 80% of the time, (which was EXTREMELY appreciated LAX to Sydney). Exec Platinum should not only guarantee I'll be first class on all my flights, but I heard that if you pass 120,000 miles this year they will fly you on a private jet....

The FA's on their private jet are great, the seating not so much.

As I have no friends, family, or job I have no need, or desire, to ever travel anywhere. I consider this a blessing.

Book it with miles.

In February, I'll embark on my second annual Super Bowl World Circumnavigation Trip. Counterclockwise this year (Clockwise this past February where I watched in Hong Kong).

I'll fly Business or First BNA to JFK, JFK to ICN, SYD, to JNB, watch the Super Bowl in JNB, then to LHR, SFO and home.

All for $1,100 out of pocket, and a ton of miles.

The Emirates apartment is very accessible with miles, well within reach of anyone.

Here's a similar apartment opportunity. https://www.topmiles.com/blog/articl...airlines-miles
