Icon14 $6,000 GV From AD!!

Just got a call from an AD saying a "V" serial GV was available.

I told him the market is down on them right now and got him whittled down to 6K shipped, no tax.

Needless to say, it's on it's way to me next week.

CONGRATS, just tried to get a discount, they were not hearing it. They had a couple of customers lined up just in case I denied it. Luck you!

Yeah, discounts are pretty unheard of on the GV.

I wanted to apologize if anyone took offense at this thread. I thought about it and it seems that it could be taken as a "show-off", "look at what I can do" type of thing and that wasn't my intention at all. I was excited to finally catch a break and get a Rolex at below msrp by a good margin and didn't think about the feelings of others on the Forum.

So if any were offended, I sincerely apologize!

x3 NO need to apologize... it's always nice to hear when good things happen to good people. And after all, when someone on the forum gets a good deal, we all benefit (pics, thoughts, review,...)... and it reinforce to many (or at least, to me) the belief that DEALS CAN AND DO HAPPEN at ADs!

Enjoy the moment!

I'd buy it if my dollar was as strong as two months ago. Right now it would cost me 1200$ more then in september!

Yeah, I took it as a note on the market rather than an attempt at showing off. If you can arrange a discount on something hard to get, all the best.
