Has Rolex ever made a 38mm Daytona?

I need the experts here to help me with an argument.

Has Rolex ever made a 38mm Daytona?

Thanks,
Patrick

I️ believe the current SS Daytona is 38.6mm if you use calipers to measure it.

The 4 digit Daytona’s were more like 37mm.

trick question

If you dont mind an extra .5mm than the current ceramic Daytona fits the bill.

They all look like they are 38 if your wrist is larger, regardless of what the web tells ya

All of the original 60's and 70's Daytonas were about 38mm.

I don't think that watches were so critically measured by enthusiasts back then as they are now.

Most measurements I see here are measured horizontal 9 to 3. My understanding is Rolex measure diagonally 10 to 4 or 8 to 2. Maybe the reason for the differences of opinion.
