One Rolex only
What has been the longest anyone has gone between a first rolex and a second? Has anyone followed up a first rolex with a non-rolex purchase?
I am up to 9 days already, lol. |

1985 to 2016 (you do the math, lol). But in the first five months of discovering TRF, I went from waiting for a SS Daytona to buying a platinum one.

Thanks! I get a kick/thrill out of it every time I put it on.
So...this thread seems more like “how little time did I wait to buy my second Rolex” rather than how much!

About a year between my two. I picked up / traded a few things in between. Including a North Flag (does Tudor count?) that I love.

Bought my first in Dec 2015, bought a Cartier a little over a year later, wasn't that happy with it, so I sold it.
Now in the pursuit of a Daytona. |

Bought my 116622 in 2013 then Bought Speedmaster Pro the following Summer and then Bought a 16570 Polar in 2014. Ever since 2013 I've bought 28 watches (some catch and release) and also started in Grand Seiko this August and first one so far is the sbgh039. Depending on budget on average I buy 5-7 watches per year. So I'm gonna say 45 days in between is a good wait time(Personal preference). ;)

Started with a DJ in 1999 and wore it forever as a daily. I mean, wore the crap out of that thing. I have no idea when #2 came along. But eventually it did, and then I discovered TRF and...well, you can guess the rest.

Same for me, had a DJ before TRF and then bought a Subc, then AP, then back to Rolex, PP and AP.

1987-1995 with a 16613LB then a lot of buying and selling since. Somedays, I wish I would have just stuck with one. Love the hobby, but sometimes I miss the simplicity of having one nice watch.

Little less than a year, maybe about 10 months. Then 6 months between 2 and 3. I don't think there will be a 3-4 though.
