Vintage Tissot Seastar Navigator Panda Dial Chronograph

Originally from the early 1970s, this colorful chronograph was part of the Seastar line, and features the reliable manually wound Valjoux 7734 movement. The "panda" configuration dial is a soft spot for many collectors and this extremely well preserved watch is a great addition to any collection.

These funky chronographs are becoming tougher to find, and it's even harder to find such great value in a vintage watch. Coming in at 40mm, the case size wears like a modern watch but with vintage charm. With the beautiful tritium patina and panda dial with red accents, you're sure to catch yourself staring any time this Tissot is strapped to your wrist.

Case: 40mm case in excellent vintage condition as pictured. The case has only light surface wear and appears unpolished, retaining its original finish of vertical brushing on the dial side and polished sides.

Bezel: The original fixed tachymetre bezel is in excellent condition as pictured with minimal wear.

Dial/Hands: Original dial and handset in excellent condition as shown. The white dial with black subdials has its original tritium hour markers which have faded to a pleasing patina. The original polished tritium hands have a matching patina, and the chronograph seconds and minute counter hands are accented in red.

Caseback: Original screw back in excellent condition as pictured.

Crystal: Excellent condition acrylic crystal free from any major scratching.

Movement: Original signed Valjoux 7734 hand wound chronograph movement in excellent mechanical condition. All functions work as they should including the chronograph start, stop, and reset to zero with good timekeeping. Service history is unknown.

Bracelet/Strap: New blue leather vintage style strap with stainless buckle.
