Colareb strap
Hey folks,
I have just bought a navy blue colareb strap for my 114270 explorer. Would you say it goes with the watch head? I am interested and would love to see pictures if folks here have... Thanks! |

I would say yes to that!
I love the quality of Colareb, I have one of their ostrich straps on my vintage Omega. |

As long as it fits in the space between the case and springbars. It's very tight on a 114270 and there will likely be some rubbing of the leather at least.

I have read that the 114270 eats leather straps up. Supposedly due to the sharp edges on case and rubbing. I do think the 36mm Explorers look amazing on a strap though. Report back when you get the new strap mounted, will look great I am sure!

The 214270 also has very little room between the spring bar and the sharp edge of the case back. I've scarred and sliced some decent leather straps.

Will probably look great!
Be careful when installing it, so that it does not get “chewed” by the case border. Post a pic once you have installed it! Best regards, |

It's such a shame that for a very versatile watch it's very hard to put on different straps... I wasn't aware of all that... Thanks guys for the heads up, I'll definitely poat some pics when it arrives...
