Be careful of this email Scam. You receive an email from the address above. They are making it look like a W-2 or tax document. To download the document you need to enter you social security number. Don't Do It!

Man, we're also having a lot of tax related fraud here in Canada. Mainly calls trying to tell people it's Canada Revenue Agency and if they don't pay how ever much they're owed they'll be "thrown in jain".

Hope the scumbags behind all of these get caught, and soon.

The W2 one is a new trick. You just always have to remember that in the US the IRS will never call or email you. If they need to correspond with you it will be via mail. My identity was stolen twice and I have a heck of a time filing my tax return every year. I need a PIN number that I need to get from the IRS. Every year, they mail me a new one for me to give to the CPA to file the return.

Yes. Unfortunately people are and do. The Scum Bags who are phishing for your private vauable information are getting better and more sophisticated at fooling a lot of innocent people.
