WG Blue SkyD vs SS Blue SkyD - Wider SS Oyster Bracelet Makes them look different

I know there are a lot of people who don't understand why anyone would purchase the WG version when the SS version is half the price...and the watches "look" the same.

I have stated before that looks are just one aspect.

The heft and feel of the WG version is completely different and at least to me, something that gives me great pleasure over the SS one.

And of course, when you look at SS vs WG vs PT..they do look different...same color "white" but different hues and tones as to be identifiable to a trained eye but of course not easily detectable by the public.

As I stated, I am fine with that.

But, there is actually a difference between the WG and SS model in terms of appearance.

The newer SS model has a newly designed oyster bracelet that fits into the lugs a little wider than the PM versions. It actually looks nicer than the PM bracelet.

So, as with dial color etc on other models when it comes to SS vs PM.....the SkyD may have the same dial color and sticks between the SS and PM model.....but the bracelets are not the same and quite noticeably different.

I can't see any difference on the bracelets

True, the ss models have wider lug width. But I prefer the look of the narrower one,

Isn’t the difference in width just 1mm? That’s a tough distinction to make without a side-by-side.

Interesting, does this mean the lugs are smaller in width on the SS/TT ?

This pic also makes the TT look like a 45mm watch compared to the WG. In other words, it might not be the best photo to make a comparison.

Not for the discerning TRF eye. It's able to discern a cat's whisker, if you know what I mean.

The photo makes the TT lugs look more tapered. It gest a 22mm bracelet and the PM a 21mm. Likely saving on bracelet cost on the PMs. In this photo the watches look different in diameter too. Likely a perspective issue.
