If you own a Rolex Submariner Serial # 2132T5F4 Style114060 - let me know . I have the original papers for it - maybe we can work something out.!!

I know that no one on this forum would steal a watch. But I have a situation. My son owned a Rolex Submariner style 114060 serial 2132T5F4 bracelet 97200 dial black index. My son died in November 2015, and his watch was stolen the night he died. I am pretty sure I know who took it - but the only proof of him ever owning it is the ORIGINAL ROLEX CERTIFICATION PAPERS THAT HE HAD AT THE TIME HE BOUGHT THE WATCH...WHICH ARE NOW IN MY POSSESSION. Please - if you have this watch - or will check with your friends - I am NOT after you - in fact - I would love to see your set complete with papers. If I could just trace it to the person who stole it in the first place...I can handle it from there. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME. My son's name was Brandon McGinnis - maybe some of you here even knew him. I thank you all for any help you can provide! bearsmom

I am new here and did not know how to reply - especially when the replies sounded so negative - two posts had been combined by admin...and I guess that caused the mix-up. Thanks for the previously edited "highlights".

I do hope you read later on that the admin. had combined my first two posts into one...which made it confusing. Sorry.

Onicage - no, they did not blow past me in the wind. God just placed them under my pillow one night. What a miserable soul you must have.

I checked back in after seeing your new thread. This is not a fair comment to Onikage. You have to realize he was responding to your first post where all you said was you had papers for someone's watch and wanted to "work something out." None of us at that point had any idea of the story behind the situation, to say nothing of your own tragedy. I understand you are new here, but the basics of written communication are universal. You cannot hold it against him, or any of us, because you did not explain yourself well.

With any luck, someone here will be able to help you, but the odds are slim. I wish you luck all the same.

You are EXACTLY right...(and I knew it the minute I posted it) - and I will try to figure out how to apologize to Onikage - and try how to find my NEW thread...I am such a Rocko the Technophobe.

It appears that thread was deleted by a moderator. He may have sent you a private message explaining why.

Welshwatchman - Please believe me - I understand all that. The watch that goes with the papers I have was once owned by George Felts in Pensecola, Fla. I do not know how many transactions there were between then and when my son bought the watch, complete with papers. I just know that the watch and box was stolen the night he died...but not the papers - because I had them in MY possession because he had left them here. Thanks!

Exactly, there's no other way to read it IMO.

As far of "ring of master thieves" where in this thread has anyone mentioned that or any other criminal activity?

PS. with this my post count went up by one.

It means I simply want some help. I want to know who stole my son's watch. I think it was family. That is all I want to know - and if anyone does have the watch (and I don't think whoever has it now KNOWS it was stolen) - I just want to get the papers to them.I just need some finality to the situation. I AM NOT ACCUSING ANYONE ON THIS FORUM OF ANYTHING. i AM JUST ASKING FOR HELP!

Just keep in mind this forum is a miniscule population of Rolex owners compared to all the others in the world who don't participate on any type of watch forums. You may not find what you seek here, just be realistic.

Mrs Bear,

What the member above was explaining is that the watch in question was sold by this company on the internet.

If the warranty card in the picture is the same as in your possession then you will have a piece of the jigsaw puzzle.

If the warranty card in the picture is NOT the same. There is a deeper mystery.

Two warranty cards. One accompanying the watch, the other with you.

Rolex sells 1 million watches a year. We have a thousand or so avid readers. The odds of one of us having this watch is slim.
