Donated my shoulder to save my Exp II
Da^n! I was walking on asphalt in a light rain and stepped in a puddle of transmission fluid. I was flying before I knew it and destined for a hard horizontal landing. But I had the presence of mind to curl my arm up and take the hit on my shoulder, thus saving my Exp II from impact. Two hours later I’m still sure it was the right decision, but my 58 year old body doesn’t take the hits like it used to. Ice pack day....

I’m sure I would have done the same...and suffered the consequences. But it would have been worth it.
Glad you’re okay.

You have two shoulders but only one Explorer II.
That's an easy decision! |

Well controlled pain management I see. Your tactic probably did more than save some Rolex scratches, think of a sprained or broken wrist as a likely outcome otherwise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
