D-Blue and Mcintosh

My first post to show off one sweet watch I received for my 55th birthday from my wife. What do you think, it seems to go real well with McIntosh blue meters?

Awesome watch - looks good!
You have a very generous wife, mine bought me some new socks for my birthday!! Lol
enjoy!

Just thinking, are you going to have to change your username to DeepSea Ted!

Thanks, yes she is a very good wife, a true keeper. As far as the name change I don't think so. The Daytona is my grail watch but I find myself really liking the feel of the D-Blue.

Congratulations! It’s a great watch
And I love your sound setup in the background. What speakers have you paired your macintosh gear with?

I purchased a pair of JBL 4365 a couple of years ago when they became available in the US market. Before that, I ran a pair of JBL 4430 monitors. I have always preferred the larger format speaker in particular JBL.

Thanks mailman. My closest AD is 3 hours away from me. It was pure luck that my wife called and they had a D-Blue in stock.

Thanks Jmca1979. What I have are a Mcintosh clock, a pair of MC1.2KW monoblocks and a C52 preamp. I make regular trips to the mothership Audio Classics in Vestal NY.

That's where I got my gear! Love Mike at Audio Classics. Have a c2300 and 60th anniversary mc75 monos from them. The kw amps have me constantly leaning back to solid state. Love those. Great rig you have. Enjoy the new watch too. Great add on your part!

He sure does. I couldve had a Day Date if I didn't talk to him! By the way, forgot to say, Happy Birthday
