Planning to get a new Rolex

Hello Everyone!

I am planning to get my first Rolex GMT II, but confuse which model to get. I want to wear it everyday, so not too fancy one. Its hard to decide which model to get on GMT.

1) Batman (waiting is 6 months)
2) 2018 Steel Pepsi (Waiting period not sure)
3) GMT two tone Black and 18 ct gold (Waiting period not sure)

Maybe you guys own these Rolexs previoulsy, and help to choose which one is best for everyday use. I also like GMT two tone (Black/Gold), but is it suitable to wear eveyday??
Also, new Pepsi GMT looks great but I think Jubilee doesnt go well with everyday casual outfit, what you guys think ?

Thanks in advance,

Nali

If you're looking for basic, then the LN all black bezel would be worth looking at.

Welcome aboard. Ideally you’d be best to try them on before buying ... if not possible, you’ll have to go with your gut.

I’d say almost any Rolex can be worn with anything. It comes more down to personal style than anything.

Nali, welcome to the forum.
Anyone would be fine.
There is going to be a price difference of course.
Go try them on and which ever puts the bigger smile on your face, that is the one.

All three options 116710BLNR, 126710BLRO and the 126711CHNR are fantastic watches.
Obviously BLNR if you can't wait.

I find Two Tone watches more eye-catching than full gold so for everyday use i would go white metal. You can’t go wrong with number 1 or 2

I’d go for the Pepsi if you can get it. A classic design, but with the newest movement.

choosing which GMT is one thing, but will you decision change if you have to wait up to 5 years or longer for Pepsi GMT, with no exact delivery date? Assuming you purchase at AD at MSRP

I prefer the TT to the batman (that's why I bought one).

There's one available in the "For sale" of the forum for under $10k now.

Don't think you'll wait that much for the TT, however the all.black bezel or BLNR are better for everyday use. I'd go for the TT since you say you love it, don't over think it, or for the BLNR.

Go for what makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. But just so you know, I have no problem wearing the two-tone everyday, in both formal and casual occasions:

LN... its versitile and classic. The new pepsi probably isnt happening for a first time customer. TT isnt as versatile and i dont really think the BLNR is either with multiple colors.

The TT GMT looks quite nice !

The Batman list will diminish soon due to the “Barney” GMT introduction.

TT looks great! It definately adds a more luxurious look to the equation not
to loud but after looking at SS models it can make them look a bit more plain.
Then again its not for everyone, if it will cause you to feel self conscious then I would pass otherwise its beautiful as seen in the photos above.

Good Luck!

If you have a good realtionship with your AD... have them put you on a list for all three. Batman is readily available in alot of ADs and so is two tone GMT just call around, unless your a VIP customer with many past rolex purchases you should forget about the pepi
