What is this (purported) 1930s square Rolex?
During a watch club meeting, someone asked me if I knew anything about the watch pictured below, such as the model name. It is purportedly from the 1930s and 17 jewels. Poking around with Google searches has not revealed anything. Can anyone tell me anything about this watch?

I think it is legit with, redone dial as mentioned previously.
But would need to see movement and case signature to be sure. The serial numbers he probably looked at were for oyster cased watches, which this is not. So, date may be off.
