New BLNR!
To start this story off, I have spent the last few months months searching for a BLNR. During my search I had gotten very close to coming home with a new BLNR only to have it sold in-front of me while waiting to speak to a salesperson. Only if I could have been there half an hour earlier..
 After this last attempt, I gave up at trying to find one while away on vacation and stopped by my local AD. We chatted for a while about Rolex in general, my Day-Date being funky these last few months and about why the GMT master is going to suit me very well. I left feeling happy as ever and feeling official about being on the list. Last Friday I get a call letting me know that my collection is about to get one watch bigger! |

Thanks all!
I am really loving this watch. It's subtle enough that I don't have to try and cover it up each time I wear it like I do with my DD but at the same time it's loud enough that watch enthusiasts like ourselves know what it is. I will try and get some more photos up as soon as I can get my BLNR into its natural habitat. I hope it loves flying as much as I do! |

I had a call into an AD for the blnr and he called me two weeks later that he had one in and could only hold it for one day. A family emergency comes up( brother has appendectomy!) and the blnr gone. I go to visit a week later and its like, you lost your opportunity and wouldn't put me on a list or take cash. My loss, so I drove 25 miles to another AD and he asks if I'm local and I end up with my blnr a week later. Lucky find and enjoying it.
