16570 K serial (2001) NOS w/engraved rehaut?

This watch looks fine to me but I thought engraved rehauts showed up mid 2000s and later. This watch is K serial circa 2001 and claimed all original NOS not service case. Seems early?

Probably a random serial number that starts with a K. 8 digits instead of 7.

That would fit more with the box type and card “papers” too.

The calendar 2001 is not correct then.

Not a bad price. If there were random serial 5 digit Explorer IIs that would be news to me.

8 Digit Random Serial Number in 2010
Your watch has an 8 digit random serial number that starts with K
Its after 2010
Watch looks genuine to me
