Upgrade from TT to YG ?
I have a 116613lb TT Sub with blue starburst dial. I want to upgrade to the
116618 YG my question is should I keep the bluesy and get the YG with black dial or just sell the TT bluesy and get the YG with blue sunburst dial. Any help will be appreciated.

If going for a YG Sub, the only option for me would be the blue sunburst dial. And if you are then concerned that would make your Blu-ray redundant, I’d suggest swapping the bluesy for a Hulk.

I would suggest to keep the TT blue dial as sometimes or some situations you may not want to wear the full gold watch.

Others will doubtless have much better shots than these, but the YG with sunburst looks amazing

Full YG watch is loud. TT is more versatile imho.
I worn my TT in shorts etc but for full YG, I don’t think I can pull that off. |

I'd dump the bluesy for the full YG model. Basically you're tying up $10K in a model that will have the same bezel, dial, pcls, and crown as the YG model. $10K for a steel case and steel bracelet bits is not worth it to me. |

Keep the TT if you can, amigo. YG is a lot of fun but I still want to wear the TT and steel sometimes.

I prefer the TT over the YG version...that’s just me. No on the black dial. Blue sunburst is beautiful.

I had them both, but decided to upgrade to the YG. They’re both nice and I would be happy with either one.

I don’t have multiples of the same watch so the decision would be EZ for me. Flip the TT and go for the YG Sunburst Blue.
I did the same thing except I went WG.

If you are considering the black dial, then I would keep the TT and get the GMT 116718LN. Best of both worlds.

I’m considering this as well. Just went and tried on the 116618LB yesterday. They had the black version there too but I think blue is definitely the way to go. The full yellow gold is certainly loud though. Definitely not something I would feel comfortable rocking as often as I do my TT. But man that blue is beautiful...

I’d keep both if possible. If not, I’d sell the TT and buy the YG sub with the blue dial.

The LB YG is arguably the most beautiful watch made by Rolex. Should just sell the TT

If money is no issue then sell the Bluesy for a 18k blue sunburst. That is the ultimate 18k yellow gold Sub. The weight,dial,clasp,etc.. is a force. It is very flashy so make sure it goes with your lifestyle.

Keep the TT, i have the 116618LB and i am going to buy the 116613LB and put it on SS Glidelock.
Cause sometimes i can’t wear full YG but i need to have that blue sunburst dial around...
