How Far Would You Go?

It's Friday. The IPAs are flowing. So is my warped imagination. Here's the scenario.

You are told that your dream Rolex lies in the bottom of an over-flowing porta-pot (pristine and packaged). You are told you can't manipulate the porta-pot itself (e.g., you can't tip it over) and that the only way to get the watch is to actually fish it out. You can't use any other items other than your very own limbs. It's 4 feet deep to the bottom. Would you?

Have fun and be creative!

I’ll pay someone $100 to get it for me. And call it a day.

Sorry no creativity here. I would do it for a soggy fiver let alone a multi thousand pound watch without a second thought.

There are worse things than poo.

Depends on which reference we’re talking about.

Like scratches, imagine the fine memories that'll come every time you wear that watch.

Since no one else is playing along...

I'd call the number on the side and tell the company that a valuable item was dropped inside. I'd then let them pump the contents, retrieve it and pay them accordingly.

Easy.

"I had to go through some serious sh*t to get this watch."

Drinking alone is unhealthy.

And if Tim Robbins can swim through a 1/4 mile of shit to escape Shawshank I can stick my hand in a port-o-potty for an $85,000 watch.

You would have to have a long arm to reach four feet and be able to retrieve it. It may involve some face time!

If it is Paul Newman's "Paul Newman" Daytona, I will definitely do it. $17.8 million! Cha-Ching! 4ft-deep shit is nothing. Most of us would swim into 14ft-deep shit.
