Thinking of my second Rolex but I am extremely happy with my 116610LN

I use my 116610LN almost every day and night and only change to my Tag aquaracer occasionally.

When I switch back from tag to the sub-c, I always feels like "yes this sub-c feels and looks much better".

As in my case when purchasing my 116610LN years ago, it was to celebrate my personal achievement, now I have another achieved milestone that I feel to celebrate with another watch. But really, I don't fall with other rolex model. Seems 116610LN is the perfection to my taste.

Any suggestions anyone?

I also have the 116610LN, love it, and wear it everyday. Quite fancy adding a Tudor BB bronze or dark (or both)!

A Datejust in Steel would compliment your Submariner quite nicely. A classic duo!

Sub is a great first choice.

Then I'd set the money aside, reserved for that achievement and wait until it feels right.

When I got my Hulk in 2011 my other watches never got any wrist time. Finally decided to sell them and be a one watch guy. Don't regret it one bit. At times I think of getting a Bluesy, but I'm happy being a OWG. (one watch guy).

Have to agree.

Maybe try a 16710 Pepsi or coke for some colour. Or as above a datejust would be a nice change. But if you like being a mainly one watch guy there is no rule that says you have to add one.

Congrats on achieving your milestones

How about a little colour to brighten up your watch box.

A GMT with coloured bezel such as a 5 digit Coke or Pepsi?

Or if you want to keep it a bit more current a BLNR?

I would suggest the new 2018 SS Pepsi but I think you would be waiting too long for that...you'd probably have achieved another personal milestone by the time you received it...lol

Change it up... go shopping... put some different watches on your wrist... try Patek, JLC, AP...

Variety is the spice of life!

I appreciate your love for your sub! Congratulations!

I would look at the Polar Explorer II. Great watch. Sturdy and understated. I like the orange hand on the dial. The 42 mm case is not too large and you do not see these watches very often. You can get a discount from an AD or TS and buy one in the pre-owned market for what could be considered a deal in the current market. Go try it on.

Offload the tag and buy another Rolex, maybe a GMT.

As others have said, a DJ would be a perfect complement.

How do you feel about having two dark dials.? Have a sub and want a DJ fluted on sticks but debating between white, blue and silver dials for the DJ36. Leaning towards a white but blue is a killer. Silver looks amazing but less contrast and legibility. Thanks.

Blue is very different here, much lighter and it sunbursts, not like an AP RO which can be very navy.

I’m not sure I’d call the dial “dark.” It’s quite light in certain lighting. Also, the sub and DJ wear very differently. To be fair, I also rotate in a white dial 1980s DJ 36, so I really like the white-blue-black combo.
