incoming!!!

Very exciting day. Was out of the country last week and saw an Explorer I (the most current iteration) and fell in love with it. Didn’t want to buy out of the country, so on my way back, I called my AD and they pulled a few strings to get one in from their sister store in Southern US.

I generally have gotten discounts, and have a well established relationship with this dealer, but no discount this time. Is that good or bad? I will say that there seems to be a shortage in SS sports/professional models, so I guess that makes sense. Plus they only had it in the other store for a week.

All said and done, absolutely love the matte dial and the large crisp markers on the dial. At 39mm it fits very well. Also love the clasp on this too.

I love the classic look of the Explorer I. Great pick up - it looks right at home on the wrist.

Don't worry about paying full price on a piece, the discount always depends on the day, model, position of Venus, polar ice levels, and the Aztec Calendar.

I have a great relationship with my AD and have bought several pieces this year. I also bought one of these recently and received absolutely no discount. It’s a sign of the times- enjoy the Explorer, it’s such a great all-around piece.

Congratulations! I had the pleasure of trying one on the other day, and it has to be one the most balanced and best proportioned modern Rolex watches out there. Wear in good health!
