RubberB tang buckle strap for Explorer II 42mm
Greetings
RubberB for Explorer II Tang Buckle series. I am after RUbberB tang buckle for 42mm Explorer II model, not with the one with SS Rolex bracelet closure. Has anyone managed to find it for 42mm Exp II ? It is quite odd that they offer more options for the old/discontinued models than for the latest models of Explorer II.... thanks |

thanks, no sale then for RubberB from me....
I want to easily, quickly and very frequently swap my rubber strap and OEM SS Rolex metal bracelet - hence Tang Buckle. I dont want to change the clasp every time I change the strap. Everest does not make one for the Explorer II 42mm either. Very strange. I guess I could buy a *second copy* of the OEM Rolex SS Explorer II 42mm clasp/closure via my Rolex AD ?? Thoughts? Everest will be launching a new line of straps for the Exp 11 42mm in the next couple of months.

I received replies to my "contact us" email from both RubberB and from Everest this week.
RubberB *may* offer this band sometime in middle of 2019 (it is not a guarantee, just a current plan). This is a long time to wait, 12 months at least. Everest may offer it before the end of 2018 so a few months wait. This is very strange given 42mm Explorer II has been on the market since 2012 i.e. 6 years already.... I am guessing there is simply no demand for it.... |
