My golf game has been described as landscaping with the wrong tools.

45 years ago, I was on the golf course. 6th hole, par 3. I hit one to the green, two putted to make par, picked up my ball, walked off the course and quit as a par golfer. Haven't been back since. Don't want to press my luck.

I'm in, Doc. I'd love to trade the snowblower for a golf cart right about now!

I'm lucky enough to be around the sport for a living. Thankfully I teach it and run/own a course, not play. But I will say what I tell every student when they first come to me for a lesson, it is a dumb game that is meant to do nothing but frustrate you.

Would be more than happy to tee it up with some TRFers sometime.

I'm a novice player with only 15 rounds of golf under my belt and play off a 28 handicap. I've only broken 100 twice on my local course (par 64).
Yesterday i shot 82 and won the money.

I am a 15 handicap and golf 2-3 times a month. I do head down to Southern California (usually Irvine, or Pasadena) for business on occasion and have golfed at several courses there, but not recently.

I would love to join you, but I am stuck in Ohio. I play to a 5.1 index and play or hit balls several days of the week during the non-winter months. I lived in the OC 10 years ago and loved the Southern Cal. courses, especially Coto de Caza, but don't miss the crowds.

Enjoy living in LA. Ohio weather is not very conducive to golf during the winter.
