Everything points back to listings by the typical list of greys.
eBay isn't making any effort here except to charge dealers to be on the "authenticated" list. |

it still leaves open the question of "fraken" watches. they may check the movements but they probably aren't going to go into refinished dials, service replacement parts, etc. So I don't think this will do anything for the WIS of the world but the normal guy who wants to buy a watch and doesn't know about the classifieds may feel more confident.

Will never consider to buy a watch on ebay.
Will never consider to sell anything on ebay. So for me this changes nothing.
