Thinking about Adding some PVD to my Milgauss? Located in NYC any help?

I have a Milgauss GV and I would like to customize the watch, likely just PVD or DLC on the case and bracelet. The specific watch has sentimental value, so I want the work done on my watch.

Anyone done this?

I live in NYC if anyone’s knows of a good company to have this done.

The pureists wont have any good advice for you. I personally like it and have owned 1 non Rolex with a PVD coating on it. Looked great for a few years and then started wearing on all the edges and bearing surfaces. Looked bad aftet that and I didnt like the watch after that. So if you like the weathered look in time you will like a coating. If you like things clean and new looking I wouldnt do it. I wont get another coated watch again.

It was a gift from my wife, I don’t wear it much, but I couldn’t sell the watch.

Simple, regardless of where you are, don't do it. It wears poorly and will look poor with time.
