So proud this morning.

I’m getting my 7 year old ready for school this morning. My wife is already on the way to work, so it’s just us. We are getting ready to leave and I realize I forgot to put my watch on. I asked her if she would run up and grab me a watch while I get shoes on. She turns and asks, “do you want the Batman, the Cameron, or the yacht master.” I about fell over at her knowledge from just sitting around and looking at watches with me. I think I’ve got a little WIS on my hands. She always marvels at my watches and tries them on with me, and I think this confirms her love and appreciation of them as well. My 14 is the same way, but at 7 I was shocked she knew so much about the different models.

That is pretty awesome. Amazing how they can pick up on the things we like. Now you just need to get her to spout reference numbers!

A man can only dream about such things in my home! My family depends on iPhones and Fitbits. I am truly alone...

Mine too! It’s pretty awesome. She thinks the second hand sweeping around the dial is amazing.

You have to get her a watch with a display case. She will really get into it!

That's a great idea, I totally should. The next step is getting the wife something that can be passed down.

About that...dont take my advice...

An older pic :). The kid following the old mans love for watches :)

In all seriousness, I do remember my kid so excited about the movement on the speedy and the octo.

oh man that must be something.

My little one is just barely 7 months now and she's shown interest in my watches as well.
But more so for the shiny sparkly factor than anything else...

One day...

That’s so funny, my son did the same thing to me once at an AP boutique in Miami. He started talking to the manager about the watches and reference number I have......he was 9

My 3 year old insists on picking out my watch every morning, the 5 year old could care less. Its somewhat of a tricky game to play when I am all dressed up and he picks out the FC Diver on yellow strap and I have to veto his pick, then a tantrum ensues.
