Help ! Need to have small package delivered at Miami airport

We’re off to Miami next week and I need to have the keys of the home we’re staying at delivered somewhere at the airport when we arrive. Is there any service providers for these kind of stuff ? I already have an address in Fort Lauderdale where my friend can Fedex the keys but it would be a mess to drive up there after an 11 hours flight with a 3 years old baby..

For obvious security reasons, I doubt you can send a strange package to an airport. Try a UPS store near the airport

You can send it no problem. It will def be checked by US customs and border protection officers at the mail hub.

It’s a little confusing but it sounds like you want to pick up the keys and drive straight to the home? Can’t you ask the homeowner to hide the keys on the property? Like under a certain potted plant in the backyard?

Andy,
What’s the date you arrive ? Maybe I could run them up if I’m in town...
I’m sure Uber can make delivery from Fort Lauderdale to the airport. Probably 30.00 dollars
Although I’m sure There’s a FEDEX or UPS store by the airport if not at the airport

You could always catch the train from MIA to Fort Lauderdale, ( 10.00 ) but like you said an 2 hour train ride back and forth might be to much after an 11 hour flight. But you could park the wife and child in the Centurion Lounge while you do it. Or have the keys in a lock box hung on the door knob at the house.

Just some options

FedEx Ship Center
6100 NW 36th St
Miami, FL 33166 US
tel 800-463-3339
Right next to MIA airport

Andy ,

I like Marks idea of a Lock box on the door knob.
Realtors use them all the time.
They are available at home depot. Lowe's or Ace hardware.
Your friend can get one set up the pin and send you the code.
That way you arrive in Miami and go straight to the Flat.

For the cost of an Uber or Taxi probably less...

Why not have them DHL it to you prior to your departure?

UPS/Fed-Ex are probably the best options.

I live across the planet, they would never make it. Problem solved anyway,my friend said she will leave the keys at the condo concierge, not sure why she came out with the problem in first place anyway...
