Condo and valet parking tipping.
Ok off to Miami Beach for 2 weeks tomorrow. My friend condo has valet parking which is something I’ve rarely done in Vegas or LA,but looks like it’s sort of mandatory this time. About tips....do I have to tip the guy EVERY time I get the car ? That’s going to be steep since I would probably drive in n out 2 to 4 times a day..

Do they charge for valet parking ? I’d imagine a 10.00 per day would be sufficient if it’s free. Here in Las Vegas I usually tip 5 but I don’t go to the strip unless it’s an Emgency, like a GTG or dragged by out of town visitors

My mother in law's condo in Miami is the same and you pay for mandatory valet parking. I only tipped when they unloaded and loaded our bags. That seemed fair because what if you live there? You have to tip at least twice a day (to and from work) and it's part of the HOA fee.

I live in a building like that and only give Christmas cash, unless the person went above and beyond.

I would talk to the guy and suggest tipping once a week, maybe $20 - $40. Explain you are a guest.

When we stay at Fontaine bleu in miami a couple of weeks at a time, I tip usually on my return 5 . Maybe every third day. Sometimes I will bring a couple of dozen donuts for the whole bunch of them and believe me, they remember those things a bit more. It is not mandatory, but they are humans and they work to put food in their tummies.
