What does wearing your Rolex do to your self confidence

we all have our good days and bad days. But when you wear your Rolex does that give you that extra boost to takeover the day with confidence and kill it?? I know for me personally every time I look down at my wrist it reminds me what it’s like to crush it. What about you?

exactly, anyone that needs material things to boost their ego is pretty shallow in my book.

When I look at any of my watches I think of my grandfather, a watchmaker, that gave me the interest in timepieces and so many other valuable lessons in life.

I take it you raised a kid that accomplished that on their own. In which case, we’ll done!

That's awesome! I got each of my 3 kids birth watches and hope they appreciate them as much as I do.

It used to do something but the last few days I've forgotten to even wear a watch when popping out to the shops...

For self confidence....nothing.
When not wearing a watch, my arm feels naked, as if I forgot to put on pants or wedding ring...That’s about it.
Although for me, putting on a Rolex is like comfort food, VS putting on any other brand.

Makes me feel very sexy! I sing a slightly different version of the song by Right Said Fred: I’m too sexy for my Rolex!

You should not need a watch to give you self confidence.

People should love watches and horology because of the effort it takes to make a watch, the attention to detail, the historical significance, the sentiment of being able to pass something down for generations. Not because a Rolex makes them "be crushin it'. lame.

I agree, however I said extra boost. It’s no different than getting a great haircut to feel confident or pressing your shirts. Everything in our modern world is somewhat materialistic. We’re all here because we have a small accomplishment in being able to afford a luxury item like a Rolex . Everyone who says they don’t have a Rolex because it brings them some sort of happiness is a lie. Might as well wear nothing since time is of the essence. Live life happy because it’s short blah blah. I guess I’m still in the honeymoon phase of my purchase.

Eh, I understand what you're saying but I think people can love a watch for whatever reason they want.

What about those people that just bought a Rolex because someone recommended it, then love the watch because it has provided great timekeeping for 30+ years with very little maintenance?

Not everyone cars about the history and not everyone appreciates the attention to detail...
