Buy Omega Speedmaster

Beginning the process of buying an Omega Speedmaster but unfamiliar with the market dynamics.

It seems as if the craziness of Rolex world is not present in the Omega market. What discount is expected from an AD off MSRP in the United States...?

On the original speedmaster with the hesalite glass manual wind. I would expect no discount. Buy one from a trusted seller. That watch retails for $5,500. I bought mine used 2 years ago for $2650

From an AD I would expect around 10% off MSRP.

No discount from a boutique.

Trusted sellers maybe closer to 15% Maybe slightly more.

I would used trusted gray market, that’s how I picked up mine last April. There was an AD here in NJ that was close to 20% off, but I could not justify that when I could get the same BNIB for a better deal.

The standard Moonwatch with Hesalite is routinely available here from Trusted Sellers ranging from $3450-3800 or so. I bought mine from one here last year, full NIB kit with dealer stamped warranty card. I tried buying from several AD’s but best offer was 15% off.
