Caseback Engraving Inspiration

I have two sons. Newborn and a two year old. I purchased a Rolex for each of them for their first birthdays. Can I get some inspiration from you guys on what to engrave on the back?

I plan on giving it to them on their wedding day or maybe college graduation. It’s a long ways away but I’ve always planned ahead all my life.

I have 2 boys. I wonder if if is better to hand write inside the caseback the message rather than hand engrave. Using perm marker or something like that.

That’s some fine hand writing. Think I’d rather exterior engraving.

Love the sentiment. What a great day it will be when you give them the watch!

Time is flying by much too quickly. One day I’ll wake up and it’s time to polish up the watch to give it away.

There isn't a ton of space so keeping it short and sweet is best.

Perhaps their initials and dates of birth.

I don’t know how well this would fit but for my oldest daughters yearbook sentiments I wrote- No matter how far away you travel, never forget the way back home.
