Hello guys,

I recently bought a spring bar removal tool from eBay that came with several needles with different sizes. It is exactly the same as Bergeon 6825, however I can't seem to fit the needle in the springbar.. The space to access the bracelet springbar is smaller than the needle width.. This in a 126710 BLRO.

There's a pair of needles with supposedly 1mm that I can fit inside the gap of a 16610 SUB to access the springbar however it is super tight, it feels as if I need to force it a little bit for it to enter. On top of that it doesn't sit flush on top of the spring bar, feels like if I start to pull it it will slip at any moment and the spring bar will fly across the room..

Am I doing anything wrong or something? Picture of the different needles in attach.

Take a small file and give it a few strokes

Like the man said: get a locksmith file and file away until it fit.

That is what I did for my bergeon

What bergeon do you have? I was planning on buying one to fix this problem but don't want to end up buying another tool with the same issue

1.0mm U will work fine with Rolex Springbars. Are you sure your using correctly?

You need a tip smaller than 1.4mm if I recall. You should have the correct tip if that is the set you bought.

Not sure about that tool you have, Bergeon 7825 is the one I have that fits perfectly. I believe the Bergeon 6767-F will also work (but harder to use as its not the tweezer style). I think the tips on these are 1mm.

The Bergeon 7825 Spring Bar Tweezer is the correct tool for the job.
