Rolex AD/Boutique Switzerland

Hello,

I am thinking of taking a holiday to Switzerland later this year and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to the best Rolex AD/Boutique to visit.

Thanks

I was there a few weeks ago after being in Paris. Switzerland is one of the most expensive places on earth to buy a Rolex. Cool irony. I was in Zurich, Basel, Bern, Lucerne, Geneva and a host of other day trips to smaller centres. Nothing but PM models on display - you just get to hear no in German: Nein. But yes there are AD’s everywhere.

You haven’t mentioned what you want but based on a lot of burned shoe leather there’s not much around. One of biggest dealers is Bucherer

Bern

Lucerne

Zurich

And on it goes

The windows look like this - PM territory

Hi !
It depends on where you will be located !
I live in Geneva and the main AD here in Switzerland is Bucherer (2 shops downtown, 1 at the Airport of Genève-Cointrin). You can also find Chrono-Time, also downtown...but as InitialAndPitch said, I don't think you'll find anything (SS models like Daytona, GMT Master or Submariner are all soldout and you will wait a lot before getting a call) except if you are asking for others model or much more expensive (I am thinking about the Platinium Day-Date -President- I've seen at Bucherer last time).
One more thing, watches are here less expensive respect to some countries (UK, France, Germany, ...) because CHF is lower than EUR/GBP and VAT is lower also (<8%, respect to Europe which is around 20%)...

So in one word, it depends on the model, and the location but maybe everywhere here in Switzerland, you'll find Bucherer.

Cheers.

In that case you can go at Bucherer, enjoy their coffee and talk Rolex (and others).
At the 4th floor there is always Expo-like events (last month, it was about Rolex Submariner).
