The Meaning of Heaven and Hell

A fierce warrior fresh from battle approaches a wise old monk and asks the monk to explain heaven and hell. The monk resists but finally agrees.

The monk calls the great warrior a coward and tells the warrior he is weak and unworthy to fight his enemy.

The warrior is enraged, and cannot comprehend the stupidity of the monk. The warrior is pissed. He draws his sword and draws it back ready to take the head off the monk. Just then, the monk raises his hand and tells the warrior "This feeling my friend, this is hell"

The warrior blinks and stares at the monk for few moments and drops his weapon and starts weeping, struck by his new insight.

The monk puts his hand on the warriors shoulder and tells the warrior, "This feeling my friend, this is heaven"

I loved this when I heard it the other day.
