Trench warfare natural charcoal deodorant
Anyone tried this stuff yet?
I just recently picked it up and applied it for the first time today. Upon its initial smell test, I thought it was great. Now Im not so sure. As you perspirate it smells like carpet cleaner solution to me. Anyone? https://dukecannon.com/products/tren...RoCTJIQAvD_BwE

I use a crystal deodorant, which is basically a salt stick. Even my gym clothes have zero odor now. ZERO.
[Note, does ZERO to prevent perspiration.] |

I use the crystal when traveling, but the spray daily. I’ve done so for the last 20 years. For me, the major upside is that it doesn’t stain shirts.

I use this too but I don't sweat much in everyday settings. If I know I might be sweating a lot...I would probably up the ante.

It looks like it would make your shirt underarms black.

I have tried a lot of natural deodorants as I just can’t imagine rubbing chemicals in sweat glands is the healthiest of practices. But I sweat a ton so I usually just stick with clinical strength whatever and generally am happy with the results. Natural ones have seemed more gimmicky and would probably work in a light work environment

Trench warfare natural charcoal deodorant
I’m making a wild guess, but your body chemistry may be reacting to one component that off-gasses some foul hydrocarbons.
I found this in their label: WITCH HAZEL DISTILLATE It’s good for controlling skin reactions to the active ingredients but could produce scents that you aren’t accustomed to smelling in other deodorants with Maximum fragrances. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

"Built for 12-hour work days, not 45-minute tennis lessons."
I guess I have to skip my tennis today and do some manual labor to get this deodorant to activate and dissipate.

Trench warfare natural charcoal deodorant
Let me know if you find one that works. I’m by no means a jock and have tried several “natural” deodorants and all seem to not work well enough.
I just avoid antiperspirants.

After my recent struggle with cancer I made the switch to aluminum free “natural” deodorant. I did a ton of research and read many reviews. I went with Myro. Going in I knew that it takes about a month to get rid of the traditional antiperspirants that have accumulated in the pores of your armpits. It is suggested to apply twice a day until your body adjusts. It is also said that eating clean helps a ton with stink. So, I’ve also changed my diet and cut out processed sugars (the cancer put things into perspective). Here are my thoughts, 3.5 weeks into the switch:
I really like the scents of Myro. So far I have tried 3 different scents and they all smell great. They are meant to be androgynous, so to me they just smell clean... like laundry soap. Wearing natural fibers is key. If I wear a t-shirt, my pits don’t smell for hours. I still reapply, but I don’t really need to. It should be noted that people tend to go nose deaf, so I’ve been having my wife take a whiff now and then to keep tabs on my smell situation. She’s the best and super honest, so I trust her. When I wear synthetic fabric, the deodorant does not work as well. You have to reapply every few hours. This weekend was the first time I put it to the test. I’ve been on limited/light duty until my surgeon clears me tomorrow for my final post-op appt. She said that this last week I can start light cardio, so I did. I sweated for about an hour and I was stinky. Like, really stinky. My wife could smell me as I walked by and said I smelled like onions. That said, I reapplied the deodorant as a test (I was going to shower right after). It helped a lot. She said I didn’t smell badly anymore when I walked by. She said I DID still smell if I raised my arms, but not too bad. So, I am thinking about keeping body/baby wipes in my work bag juuuuust in case I have a bad stink day. I usually shower right after working out, so I don’t care if I stink then. I will say, I probably won’t need the wipes in general, but they would be peace of mind/insurance. For the most part, I am quite happy with the switch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Interesting stuff guys. I had no troubles with odors while using this. It seemed to work just fine for me.

I sometimes wonder if worrying about anti-perspirant makes you sweat.
