Rolex GMT Master II CHNR

I just received today this Rolex GMT Master II CHNR. I like the color and I definitely love the size. Actually it looks smaller than my bluesy for some reason although they are actually of the same size. I have read other forums pertaining to this watch and I read some comments (some are great, others not so much) but all are giving me more information that I needed. When AD called that they are expecting a CHNR delivery I said yes. I actually have not seen this in person but I have another GMT so I know the fit would be no issue. Now here it is:

Congrats! You'll be happy with your choice. I love mine more and more each day.

I think the lugs on the latest GMT models are a bit slimmer than your bluesy's, hence it looking smaller.

Great buy! I'm definitely going to pick one up when one becomes available.

Please share a few pics of the watch in the sunlight along side the bluesy.

Cheers!

Congrats. It is a pretty watch. Haven't seen it yet, but I am guessing it is a wonderful piece. I passed one and instead got the BLRO. I just love the GMT watches from Rolex, no one else does it as good as them. Congrats to you.

A very striking watch and visually clever. Mine will be along in 2-3 years. It will be worth the wait.

Big congrats.

Has your AD quoted you that long, or are you just waiting until the time is right for you?

I went on my AD's list this month. They are confident that I will get one by 2022. I'm eighth (or thereabouts) on the list. When they are confident I have reached the point where I can expect it inside 12 months they will ask for a small deposit.

To piggyback this comment, on my part I ask my AD any diver’s watch will do. When he called that he is expecting a CHNR delivery I did not hesitate and simply said yes to it. The next day, he called me that it has arrived and will get the payment on the phone as I was working that day. I think CHNR is not going to take for others to wait that long. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Congrats on the CHNR! Such a stunning, unique reference for the GMT line.

I am guessing it probably feels a little smaller than the Bluesy due to the slightly lower height/thinner case back. In the past that was the only difference I detected between my SubC and BLNR.

That was my understanding as well, that the sub with its greater depth certification, has a different/thicker case back.

Lovely choice, congrats on the new addition!
