GMT IIc brushed center links
I removed the bracelet and brushed the center links. I think I prefer this to the polished ones. I can always polish them later if I want, but right now I'm liking the way this looks.

it does look good, but polishing later would thin out the metal and be kinda a pain..
im thinking of getting a brushed bracelet for mine, but not going to ruin my polished one

You could brush and repolish a hundred times before you could thin the metal enough to notice it. Having a second bracelet is a nice luxury of course. Not sure how much they cost, but they're probably pretty pricy.

I've seen this watch for real and prefer the polished centre links.....the way Rolex intended it to be.

I'm thinking of doing the same when I get my GMT-IIc. Any idea where you would get a bracelet?

When its first service comes up, send in the head (maybe on a crappy strap) and ask what it would cost to get a bracelet?

And the watch looks far better with brushed center links than the polished ones. Now if only something could about that shiny bezel. |

I also think the GMT looks better on a brushed bracelet(I guess I do not like change) over one with polished center links!!! Enjoy your new combo!!!

I've got a GMT IIC that should be here today, assuming the USPS does their part. I plan on wearing it a week or so as is and then running over to Bob Ridey and having him give the entire watch a brushed finish.

Nice look and it's easier to keep it looking A1. With polished links the minute you get a scratch there's always the tempation to polish it to get it back to A1 condition, however, its a never ending job!

Looks so much better, kinda gives it it's tool look back. I don't know why rolex polished the center links on this model to begin with?

I think having a polish links makes you more conscious about getting it scratched..this is really cool..and if you can have it polished again the you still have that option...really cool!!!
