Incoming!
First AP. Wow, the finishing on this thing is unreal! It is definitely another level above my Rolex and Tags.
I think the Diver is a great size, larger than the RO but not as bulky as the ROO Chrono 42mm and 44mm. I am excited to play around with some bands, this is my first rubber strap and definitely want to add a leather strap and possibly full bracelet. Would love some equipment recommendations, so I can swap bands myself? Also, what color leather strap do you all think would look good with the White/Blue dial? I’d like to dress it up for more formal wear with leather and keep it on rubber for a sporty summer look. |

The white dial looks so cool, congrats! Did you get the blue band with it? Would look great on that as well I imagine.

I am worried about staining the white strap, any tips for cleaning it or things to keep it away from? |

Rubber is fairly easy to clean just make a small mix of warm water, drop of dish soap, some baking soda (optional) and for lore agressive stains a pea amount of toothpaste. Then use a soft old toothbrush to clean and get the grime out.

Congrats, black always work. Or you could get a custom strap. I think doing black with some blue stitching on alcantara would be dope.

Congrats great piece. Keep it on rubber. Both white and blue look great on that one. I have a bracelet on my black face diver and to totally changes the feel of the watch. Personally I like it on bracelet and it's worth considering. Bracelet is expensive but so well made. Personally a leather strap doesn't fit vibe of the diver and I'd stick to rubber or bracelet. Changing straps on AP is delicate and you can scratch piece or ruin screw pretty easily. If you are adventurous AP bands sells a chuck that you need to secure one side of screw and then you use a Bergeron 1.4mm driver for the other side. The pin rotates freely and you need to anchor both sites to get it too unscrew. Have somebody who knows what they are doing show you the first time. You will regret scratching the piece with a slip. Nowhere near as easy on any other watch brand I've tried. For rubber strap just use warm soapy water if needed. Over time strap can dry out and I've used this to refresh some old ones. Also use it on the vinyl in my car. Matt finish so works well. I'd only rub it onto strap when it is off of watch. Wouldn't want to get this on watch itself. https://www.amazon.com/303-30313-CSR...s%2C162&sr=8-4 |
