Today is the First of the Month after a 30 Day Month

So I just spent a considerable amount of time changing dates. This is the day you value a Daytona the most. As I keep all my watches on programmed winders I change them all at once. Now all good until Dec 1.

Talk about first world problems!

Me too...I had to rotate the GMT hand 24 clicks to get to the 1st and boy are my thumb and forefinger sore!

That just means I officially have to let all my date watches stop running for one day :)

How does that help?
On Oct 2nd you’d be three days off on the date display.

Now if you hacked them for a month you could restart them on Halloween...

Nowadays it’s not such an issue as most movements have quick set date. I hate changing date on the 1601.

I actually enjoy setting the date and time on my watch

Pretty peaceful interaction

But I only have one watch

So if you have 20 watches, I can see how that might get out of hand

But I had 20 watches I would probably just pay someone to set them for me

Maybe I'm the only one but I actually enjoy popping out the crown and rotating the hour hand...heck I really enjoy interacting with my watch in general so any excuse to do so is a good time.

Here here! My sentiments as well. I've only had my DJ 1603 for a little over a month, so I also enjoy bonding with my watch. My wife says I'm obsessed, but it's a ROLEX, I'm entitled

One of the reasons why I wanted a SkyD — annual calendar complication is awesome!

It was a bit nerdy but watched the watch flip from 9/30 to 10/1.
