Go grey market.....
I've seen some as low as 20% off......I think the price could be squeezed even further. |

I bought mine NIB from a good contact, who himself bought the watch at the AD - i got it at approx -20%.
I would guess that due to the current supply-demand situation, one can push AD's for good discounts at -10% or more. |

List is $9250 in the U.S. or discounted 20% for a price of $7400.
I can see that price being available in the Duty free islands, but locally you would still have to add tax, shipping out of state can you avoid the tax? That equates to $9500 Canadian, that's $500 cheaper than what I paid. But Customs Canada has no reason to harass me, seeing it was purchased in Canada. |

i was offered 20% if I bought another rolex at 20% off
i passed, I know this summer they will be giving me 25% rescue7 is right - since this was a local AD, I would have to pay MI tax of 6% - so I figure this discount is really 14% |

Got 6% off list, but didn't pay taxes. Assuming CA tax of 8.25%, total savings was almost 15% for me. This was almost 5 months ago, so I was thrilled with the price. I knew prices were going to continue to drop (as I believe they still will), so it all depends on how much you want to save vs. how soon you want to enjoy the watch. All said, I wouldn't change anything as the watch has brought more joy to me than an additional $500-$1000 savings to continue to sit on the sidelines...guess that's the price I had to pay!
Personally, if I was going to buy today, I would snatch up Bodybumps 'V' serial he has for sale on TRF now for $7850. Brand new, $1400 off list, no taxes, open papers, shipped next day...what more could you ask for? Cheers. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...hlight=deepsea |

I got 10% off on mine too, but if I were to buy it now, it would have to be 15% or more
