Family incoming!
I recently returned from a two week holiday with my sister and brother in law. Naturally we did a bit of shopping as well.
Tudor GMT - we actually found this in the window display case. My brother in law is over the moon about this watch. During our journey back home, the hour hand mechanism broke so unfortunately it just free spins. (Will be starting separate thread on this). He didn’t even get a chance to wear it either. No bumps or drops occurred to the watch. DJ41 Rhodium & Cartier Santos - these are for me. I’ve been after the blue Santos for quite some time so I had my sales assistant special order it for me. It’s such a stunning piece in person, and dare I say that it excites me more slightly than the DJ41. After purchasing my first Rolex last December (DJ41 blue/smooth/oyster), I’ve been craving another one on jubliee and fluted since. DJ36 & Panthère De Cartier - My sister’s newest additions. I must say the new 2019 reference for the DJ36 looks fantastic with the updated case and slimmer lugs. The rosé dial looks great under the light with the small touches of the diamond markers and Everose Gold. |

I have to admit that I feel very similar about the Santos. It’s a beautiful watch and not a bad value given that it comes with a second band.
Very disappointed to hear about the Tudor. That’s another watch that is high on my list but there are too many stories of problems (date, now hours). |

Congrats to all! Bummer on the GMT but it should be an easy fix.
