Not sure about the HK market, but I would expect to pay about $14kUSD in our market for a similar 1675.

Dial is MK5, which a 3mil wasn't born with... $14k is a lot imho. No obscene, but a lot.

True, no doubt about that - but before Rolex began specific Service Dial procedures, the Mark 5 dials doubled as a service dial for earlier 1675s when the original Mark 2-4 dial stock had been depleted. So could have been a service swap. Quote:
The watch seems fine but not all original. As long as price is secondary, all is fine. You can go about a 1675 learning quest a couple of ways. Overspend for 1675’s that don’t perk, or do more pre-sale check-up’s in TRF’s vintage section. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

$14K with a blueback insert and wrong dial, that's a lot of money for a watch that's not period correct. This watch should be priced around $11K. Hang around here and you'll find better deals.

Unfortunately, vintage Rolex prices here in HK are abit higher than US and UK. Good quality pieces are difficult to come by and prices here are heavily influenced by Japan where prices are sky high at the moment, likely due to the strong economy.

Thanks, appreciate your feedback. the lume on the hand is perfect with the indicies.. isn't that a good thing? does it matter if it's a service dial?

A bit expensive but it is a beauty !
If you want it, not just as a pure investment, go get it... |

Have you seen the dial/hands under a UV light? Something about it seems a little too perfect in the tone/color match. And look at the lower right corner of the 6 o'clock marker.
It could be fine, but I'd definitely want to confirm that it's original tritium, even if it is a service dial and hands. |
