Question for the female TRFers...
So... I went for a bra fitting at Nordstrom's today (they had a bra event )
Anyway... I've always been sized other places as a 34-C. Today they tell me I'm a 32-D. I haven't found a comfortable bra in years! Any other suggestions for places to be sized or brands to try? I did end up buying one at Nordie's but the more I wear it... I think it might be a medieval torture device.... |

(1). Are the girls the same size. If not fit the bra for the largest one and let cupcake roll around. (2). Front or rear snap. Now this makes a big difference becasue of pressure and leverage points. (3). Cup size is important, but what is the overall cut of the bra. What I mean is full coverage or cleavage cut. Again, it makes a big difference. One cut holds the precious cargo with tender loving care and one pushes the mangoes up and out for old perverts like me. (4). How are you trying on the bra. The only way to know if you have the right size and fit is to put the bra on backwards and, how do I say this; life the puppies up and see how the strap is fitting. This is how you tell is the bra is a size big or small. Just like your Rolex band you should be able to put a finger between the main strap/support with just a little pressure. It you are getting a muffin top with the bra on backwards either it is too tight or call me quick. (5). Are we buying a bra to get a hint of puppy dog noses to get out of that speeding ticket or we acting like an executive at a board meeting. (6). When you talk about "hangers" are you speaking of something to hang the clothes on or shinning your shoes while braless. This is very important to know as it gives the equation of how much wire is needed. Remember TSA can be a little rough so go easy on the wire if you can. (7) The look. Do you want the cupcakes to reach up toward heaven, where I think they were made, poke out front like Modonna's zeppelins, or do you perfer the Wal-Mart look where they sit on your belly? (8). Type of material.....wait before I go on need to so see Helen for a minute. |

I recommend visiting a high end lingerie shop that offers fittings. You'll end up spending more, but will have a garment that fits properly. Also, brands vary in cup sizes somewhat.
OK, that's my "big girl" opinion!
