Show off your WHITE SS DAYTONAS!!
I'm picking up my brand new White dial SS Daytona for my birthday in April.... Help me shorten the agonizing wait by showing off your best White face SS Daytona picks! Who knows, they might change that beauty in BASEL in a few weeks. Better give it some screen time before a new model steals its thunder!

Hi Gaffel:
There has been debated many times before in this same Forum, about the pros and cons of black versus white dials on Daytonas. I personally feel that this is a totally personal affair and decision, based in our personal tastes, and that a debate on this matter will never arrive to any final conclussion. Tastes are different as people is. When I bought my Daytona a few months ago, I choose white because I really liked the looks of white over black, and also because I already got many watches with black dials, and wished a little change. Now, I´m very, very happy with this watch, and don´t regret my decistion about white dial. Anyway, I must recognize that, under some light conditions, the silver hands over the white background makes reading time a bit tricky to my old eyes. No big problem, but may be this is a strong point in favour of black dials on Daytonas. Just wanted to share this with you, though I keep being fan of white Daytonas!! Hope you get yours, and enjoy it as much as me!! its a true classic and a great watch! Kind regards, Abel Here some pictures. Not great thing, but what I´m able to do with my little Nikon Coolpix camera several years old now. Hope you like them anyway!

I'd like to show you good shots of mine, but all you guys are such better photographers, I can't compete! All I'll say is I love mine, congrats on your Birthday present and you won't regret it! Wear it in good health...
P.S. What the hell, I can't show you a good-close up shot of my White Face Daytona, but here's one of me picking it up last year, (I'm the ugly one on the right, the beautiful person on the left is the store manager). I just love looking at this picture and remembering how excited and happy I was to finally get this wonderful watch. Notice the smile on my face! |

Looks like everybody has one :)
Seriously - what is kind of interesting for me is the amount of Daytonas we can see posted here with ROLEXROLEXROLEX rehaut. I'd say most Daytonas posted have it. Weird considering that non-engraved rehauts have been around for like 6 years and we only get engravings for like 2 years? |

Great shots so far! But.... we can do better! I know there´s alot of proud Daytona owners out there with some SS Daytona white dial "Codak moments" to share. Please help me gather the best TRF SS Daytona photo gallery in this post.
