How do you store your booklets, warranty cards, tags, links?

I was wondering if anyone had any innovative ways of storing booklets, warranty cards, tags, extra links, bezel protectors etc for their watches. Besides the regular way in their boxes or ziploc baggies, does anyone have any other interesting ways of storing these? I was looking for album pages with seals at the top so they don't slip out but haven't found any. I would like to be able to flip through them from time to time. Thanks for your ideas.

Does anyone think that having the paperwork AND the watches in the same safe might be risky? If a determined burglar made you open the safe - they have both.

Yes but then you are covered, and that's a more serious theft, police involved and a decent enquiry. They often don't bother for simple theft.

All in all if at gunpoint, open the safe, who cares what gets stolen, you are still alive.

I don’t see it as “risky” in the sense that, who cares if a thief gets your watch AND the paperwork, as opposed to just the watch?

However, I do keep the paperwork separate and hidden in the loft, purely because of the tendency of insurance companies (in the U.K. at least) to use absolutely any minuscule excuse not to pay out if they can weasel out of it. Possession of B&P in the event of theft means that you can prove beyond any doubt you owned the watches.

Everything stays in the boxes. Boxes go in large rubber sealed tubs that gets stored to keep clean and safe.

I have all my outdated warranty papers, tags,bezel protectors stored in a cryogenic deep freeze bank as I want my outdated papers, books,etc to look like new in a hundred years time.And for my watches I have had a specially made Rolex certified bed made from the finest materials known to man.Its lined with the finest silk and specially padded with the finest softest Pashmina as not to scratch the extremely delicate 904L S.steel.And it has a built in winder to gently rock my Rolex to sleep and keep its heart ticking at a constant 28800 BPH.Plus the added feature of thermostatically heat humidity and air conditioned controlled to the COSC standard.Its fully programmed to lull my Rolex to sleep when off my wrist, with soothing ticking music and whale sounds to help it drift into a place of peace and Rolex tranquillity. But in the real world most of the plastic things like bezel protectors are gone in the bin long time ago, as for the rest think they are up in the attic where they belong. Because the watch on my wrist is the most important and not any of the plastic or packaging..

I store my Rolex paperwork in a purple Crown Royal bag, along with my birth certificate, last will and testament, and the title to my house. Where else?

I always keep paperwork together, so not to lose a card. But i never leave everything in the box. Boxes get pinched. If it gets stolen, you can always buy a box for cheap. Paperwork is unique. It goes in the safe, takes little room and is safe.
Worse way to store a watch is in its box, full set, outside of a safe. That's just saying to a thief : i saved you the trouble in case of resell, just take the box and have it all
