I admit it. I don't always set the second time zone on my GMT

OK, I admit it. If my GMTs have run down and I just want to pick one up to wear for the day, I just set the time and date. The second time zone is meaningless to me at this point.

However, if I know I'll be wearing the watch for a few days in a row, I will set it to GMT time. I don't really know why. I guess it goes back to my old flying days. I don't do as much traveling as I used to.

But, I sure love my GMTs.

Fair enough! Most people won’t dive to 1000 feet, or use the chronograph to record lap times and speed. Use the complication as you need it. Either way, it is an amazing watch.

Nothing wrong with that. A 4 hand watch is just as handsome regardless if the 4th hand is set.

If you want to be technical, you did set it but rather it’s just not set for a time zone you’re using at the present time.

Interesting. I could really use the full 3 timezone functionality of the GMT series, but sure, if you're not traveling much anymore, purchased the watch for the movement or asthetics I get it.

When I pop on my 16570 (Polar E2) I always set it to GMT.

I removed the hands and the bezel and put timing bezel. And use that timing bezel as Gmt much easier

This is pretty senseless because the 24 hr hand (it's not a GMT hand) and the 12 hr hand always maintain the same relationship to each other - unless you change it.

If the watch has stopped, set it the same way you would any watch and the 24 hour hand will always maintain the relationship you chose.

Using the jump feature as the primary setting method defeats the whole purpose of the watch..

I agree with you, but using the jump feature when the watch has run down is a lot easier just to set the date.

Really don't care for the GMT's. I just want to know USA time zone. I don't travel to other countries with different time zones so I find no use for it.

My "mild" OCD doesn't allow for me to not set the GMT. If I am not traveling, the GMT is my local AM/PM. The date? If it is present, I have to set it too. I certainly love no date watches, they relax me. Go figure.

I use all three time zone es in my GMT quite often, especially when I’m traveling (my team at work is located all over the globe). Plus not having the GMT hand set properly would really bug me. So that’s why I got a Wolf watch winder.

I am the same with the GMT hand (I only set when I need it), also sometimes I'm too lazy to set the date on my GMT. Depending on what you need to get to, it will take many crown turns to get to the date you want.
